Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Northern Star Hotel & Convention Center. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel spaces.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
