About This Opportunity
The District Sales Manager, Multi-Channel and Merchandising is responsible for driving sales growth and executing sales priorities within their territory for both Large and Small Format customers. This role will also oversee the Distribution aspect of the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets and P&L while ensuring labor and OPEX efficiency
- Lead a team of Sales Development Managers, Sales Execution Associates, Merchandisers, warehouse and Drivers
- Ensure delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory compliance
- Coach and develop direct reports to foster a culture of learning and development
- Build relationships with accounts and serve as the connection point with Sales area leadership in operations
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce health and safety policies and regulations
- Regularly interact with store level and local chain leaders to drive sales and marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education, preferably in business or a related field
- Minimum 2-5 years progressive Sales experience, with Operations experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse perspectives
- Proven team-building skills and ability to inspire and motivate others
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support Market Units
