Food Service Team Lead

Ace Shawarma is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining high-quality standards in food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees.
- Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and support their development in the food service industry.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
