Electrical Engineer Job Description

Boston Scientific Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Montreal, Canada.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic circuits for our medical devices. The successful candidate will have expertise in analog and digital electronics, as well as experience with Spice-based simulation tools and MATLAB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits for medical devices
  • Test and debug electronic circuits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide leadership to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, analysis techniques, and technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong electrical engineering simulation skills, including Spice-based simulation tools and MATLAB
  • Solid lab experience with circuit debugging, test fixtures development, and relevant lab test equipment
  • Experience in designing analog/power supply electronics and low noise analog electronics
  • Experience using electrical engineering analytical techniques to translate high-level requirements into realizable circuit designs
  • Familiarity with Python for automation of simulation and data analytics
