Electrical Engineer - Electrophysiology

At Boston Scientific, we're committed to advancing science for life by developing innovative medical solutions that improve patient lives. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and testing analog and digital electronics for our EP ablation medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and test electronic circuits for high voltage PFA treatments, communications, and interface circuits for medical devices.
  • Provide leadership to junior members of the design team and collaborate with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical research, and marketing departments.
  • Develop and debug electrical circuits and systems using the latest tools, analysis techniques, and technologies.
  • Study and research electronic circuits, components, tools, and equipment using best practices.
  • Document electrical component development efforts and track progress using approved tracking management tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering.
  • Strong electrical engineering simulation skills, including Spice-based or MATLAB.
  • Solid lab experience with circuit debugging, test fixtures development, and relevant lab test equipment.
  • Experience in designing analog/power supply electronics, low noise analog electronics, and medical device electronics.
  • Familiarity with Python for automation of simulation and data analytics.
