As a Mixing Operator at Aspire Bakeries, you will play a crucial role in preparing and mixing ingredients according to our recipe specifications. You will be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values safety, quality, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record ingredient Lot Codes and perform Lot Code changes as required.
  • Measure ingredients accurately to meet recipe standards.
  • Prepare and stage ingredients in a timely manner for recipes.
  • Inspect the quality of ingredients before mixing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
  • Adhere to food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or leaders.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent with basic math skills.
  • English literacy at an elementary level.
  • GMP/HACCP Certification (in-house).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is an asset.
