Job Overview

As a Security Operative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preventing theft and violence, and responding to site emergencies. If you have a passion for helping people and a track record of handling responsibility, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming presence and exceptional customer service

• Prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations

• Monitor site visitors and perform ID checks in accordance with site policies and procedures

• Respond professionally to site emergencies (alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters)

• Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events

• Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding the activities, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience working in security or customer service

• Eligibility to work in Canada

• Bilingualism (where applicable)

Additional Information

This is a part-time, as-needed position. The successful candidate will be required to carry a valid New Brunswick Security License and complete non-violent crisis intervention and use of force training.
