Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at the Maritime Forestry Centre. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce regulations and maintain order to resolve conflicts and monitor establishment activities.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operate security control room equipment and patrol assigned areas to ensure a secure environment.
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) is required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.

Work Environment:

The Security Officer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work site environment includes air-conditioned and outdoor areas, and the work setting is in an office building.
