The Role:
We are seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee operations at our bakery department. This role will report directly to the Store Manager and is crucial in enhancing the value of our cooperative through effective leadership and management of bakery operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and guiding the bakery department to achieve financial targets and budget goals related to sales, margins, expenses, and profits. Ensuring that the department meets high standards of presentation and operations, including cleanliness, inventory management, purchasing, and exceptional customer service. Fostering a positive work environment through effective employee relations, including recruitment, training, development, performance evaluation, and adherence to cooperative policies. Cultivating a strong culture of engagement among employees and customers within the bakery department.A comprehensive list of responsibilities will be provided to candidates selected for interviews.
About You:
To excel in this position, you will possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience in retail bakery operations, with prior management experience being advantageous. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal abilities, particularly in motivating team members to achieve outstanding results.
