Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at MANITOBA INC.

Job Summary:

The Gas Station Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, ordering merchandise, and authorizing returns. They will also establish work schedules, sell merchandise, and prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient operation of the gas station.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Fast-paced environment and attention to detail are essential.
  • Accurate, client-focused, and organized with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.

English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
