Collaborate with Industry Leaders

The primary responsibility of the Tier 1 Network Analyst is to ensure the reliable operation of all external clients and internal computer networks. This encompasses the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links while aiming for minimal network downtime. The analyst will also be tasked with diagnosing, resolving, and documenting hardware and software network issues promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

· Address incoming calls, alerts, and emails related to client network challenges and change requests.

· Initiate trouble tickets for all incidents.

· Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot networked peripheral devices along with networking hardware and software solutions.

· Uphold security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection-prevention systems.

· Manage all network hardware and equipment, such as routers, switches, and hubs.

· Collaborate with vendors and carriers during problem analysis and resolution as necessary.

· Monitor and evaluate network performance, providing statistics and reports.

· Conduct on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of intricate network issues for various clients, recommending and implementing corrective hardware and software solutions, including off-site repairs.

· Work closely with and provide training and support to fellow Network Analysts on network-related matters.

· Participate in a 7x24x365 rotating shift schedule and be open to working overtime as needed.

Position Requirements

· A college diploma or university degree in computer science or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent professional experience.

· Certifications from Cisco and/or Juniper (CCNA/JNCIA as a minimum requirement or actively pursuing completion).

· Proficient technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, current network hardware, protocols, and standards.

· Ability to operate network component analyzers, scanners, and testers effectively.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Capacity to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

· Strong orientation towards customer service.

· Must have access to a vehicle.
