Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Personal Support Workers to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide personal care services to clients living in the community. With this support and assistance, Bayshore clients are able to remain in the comfort of their own home, enhancing their quality of life, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, according to the care plan
  • Provide cognitive, social, and/or emotional support
  • Complete other assigned tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and monitoring household safety
  • Perform specialized client-specific procedures with clinical training and support
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license (G or G2)
  • Reliable vehicle and ability to drive independently
  • Able to work every other weekend
  • Able to provide a workday availability that fits our client service needs
  • PSW diploma or equivalent (DSW, Nursing Student, first year completed)
  • Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check, and vulnerable sector check
