About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Meloche Monnex Inc. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us establish the rating strategy for our general insurance products and ensure compliance with jurisdictional premium regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the rating level and classification criteria required to achieve growth and profitability objectives;
  • Participate in the production of regulatory rate change submissions;
  • Support and implement best practices and controls to mitigate risk;
  • Contribute to the development of tools and analysis techniques;
  • Monitor and measure rate levels and effectiveness;

Requirements

  • One to three years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty;
  • Bachelor degree in Actuarial Sciences or related field;
  • Completion of all preliminary professional exams of Casualty Actuarial Society;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, VBA, R, or Python;
  • Predictive modeling skills;
  • Solid organizational and communication skills;
  • Aptitude for analytical and synthetic thinking;
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to work in a team;
