We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst III to join our Corporate Actuarial team in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting various projects related to liability valuation, strategic planning, capital, and risk management for General Insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and implement new actuarial techniques to determine reserves, capital, and financial projections.
- Develop and maintain tools, ensuring sufficient control and quality standards.
- Review and enhance current processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in various analyses, including profitability analysis and impact analysis of economic factors on future reserves.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including Finance, Pricing, Reinsurance, Claims Operations, and Analytics & Modelling.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related quantitative field.
- Acquired or working towards Associateship with the Casualty Actuarial Society, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience.
- Experience in Corporate Actuarial is an asset.
