Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at MAX's Bakery & Deli Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation and serving experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
    • Work Environment and Physical Demands
      • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
      • Stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
    • Personal Qualities
      • Client focus and reliability are essential for this role.
      • Ability to multitask and work as a team player is required.
      • Dependability and a positive attitude are necessary for success in this position.
      Working Conditions
      • 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
