Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in mountain driving
  • Operate specialized trucks for various purposes
  • Efficiently load and unload cargo
  • Transport goods and materials using straight or articulated trucks
  • Inspect vehicle conditions including tires, lights, and brakes
  • Conduct brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform thorough inspections before, during, and after trips
  • Execute preventive maintenance on vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo
Licensing and Documentation
  • Must possess an AZ class license
  • Familiarity with accident reports, driver logbooks, and inspection reports
  • Maintain trip and maintenance reports
Type of Equipment

Experience with tractor-trailer combinations is essential.

Communication Skills

Ability to operate GPS and other navigation systems is required.

Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to undertake long-haul trips
  • Availability for national, provincial, and regional travel
Safety and Security Protocols
  • Must be bondable and pass a criminal record check
  • Driver's license validity and driving record checks are mandatory
  • Drug testing and medical examinations are required
