The Lead Credit Risk Analyst will support the Senior Manager in managing the risk associated with the financing portfolio. Within the Commercial Banking division, the selected candidate will need to acquire the necessary expertise to comprehend, prepare, and draft commercial credit documentation.

This role involves contributions to business model evaluations, financial assessments, risk evaluations, and collateral analysis. The Lead Credit Risk Analyst will serve as a vital resource for the Account Manager, Business Development team, and the Assistant Vice President. Sector : SME

#LI-KAB Key Responsibilities Input client financial statements and forecasts into the risk assessment tool. Conduct financial evaluations based on the financial statements and forecasts, perform sensitivity assessments, and benchmark against industry standards. Identify and assess risks linked to the client's operations. Complete the underwriting process for new transactions, annual reviews, and modifications within established timelines. Monitor client portfolio discrepancies and collateral requirements in line with credit authorization protocols. Engage in meetings or conference calls with clients. Participate in integrity and compliance initiatives (code of conduct, internal policies). Execute tasks according to specific practices, policies, and objectives while adhering to relevant legislation, Bank policies, programs, and procedures. Qualifications University degree in a relevant field, such as Finance or Accounting. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a related domain. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and critical thinking abilities. Strong interest in Finance coupled with excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail and thoroughness. Proficient in producing high-quality written communications. Collaborative mindset and proactive approach. Resourceful with the ability to prioritize effectively. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong oral and written communication skills (English proficiency is an asset). Proficiency in the Office suite. *Professional working proficiency in both French and English is required as the role involves frequent communication on complex matters with internal and external stakeholders in both languages.
