Your Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse customer base, collaborating on best practices to address pest challenges.
- Stay informed about Ecolab's product and service offerings, as well as industry trends, to enhance service delivery and sales of pest prevention and elimination solutions.
- Utilize handheld computerized tools to manage service records and document structural, sanitation, and pest-related issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility in your schedule to assist customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
- Route responsibilities will cover designated regional municipalities and surrounding areas.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- On-call weekend duties may be necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred two years of work experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, capable of maintaining a company vehicle and equipment in excellent condition.
- Availability to work overnight shifts.
- Willingness to be on-call during non-working hours and weekends as needed.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccinations may be required at certain client locations.
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds (25 kilograms) at chest height.
- Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp or dusty environments, and extreme temperatures.
- Capability to perform essential job functions, including lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using hands for various tasks.
- Must be able to wear a respirator as required.
- Possess or be able to obtain necessary pest control certification and/or business licensing as mandated by local regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service.
- Ability to promote value-added products to existing clients.
- Previous experience in the pest control industry or route management is advantageous.
