Position Overview: The Technical Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in understanding and delivering IT solutions tailored to the performance and analytics sector.
This position collaborates closely with both sales and technical teams, engaging in hands-on project design, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs). It encompasses the essential pre-sales activities throughout various stages of the sales cycle.
Client Engagement: As a client-facing consultant, exceptional communication skills are crucial, enabling effective interaction with senior executives in potential client organizations worldwide.
Requirements Analysis: Responsibilities include capturing and evaluating client needs, conducting gap/fit analyses against potential solutions.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing bids and proposals for prospective clients, offering a technical viewpoint and guidance on the appropriateness of solutions for each client.
Collaboration: Work in tandem with other technical resources to enhance understanding when necessary.
Consultative Role: Act as a trusted advisor for customers and partners, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing support.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Candidates should possess experience with enterprise IT infrastructure.
A solid grasp of IT fundamentals and principles is essential, with the capability to apply this knowledge across a diverse range of equipment and vendors.
Experience with Microsoft Windows is required, along with project management or delivery experience as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Technical Expertise: A background in IT field services is beneficial. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop precise solution designs and realistic cost estimates during the pre-sales phase.
In partnership with engineering teams, formulate comprehensive statements of work that emphasize financial considerations, resource allocation, technical accuracy, and effort levels for both Project Management Office (PMO) and Field Engineers.
Develop transition strategies, customizations, and preliminary project plans for the Park Place Project Management Tool.
A minimum of three years of experience in IT Networks is required, along with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, data centers, cabling, Wi-Fi, or end-user computing.
A Bachelor's degree is necessary, and CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred.
