About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Edo Japan Tsawwassen. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including Japanese cuisine, to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and cooked safely to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that we meet the demands of our customers and maintain a high level of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Working Conditions
