Make a Difference in Mental Health Care

Homewood Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Homewood Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide advanced practice nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with consulting physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
  • Support the management of patients with complex mental health needs, including those with substance use disorders
  • Utilize established care paths and order sets to guide care practices
  • Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with mental health expertise preferred
  • Current registration in the Extended Class (Nurse Practitioner) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Active membership in related professional associations, such as NPAO or RNAO
  • Mental Health Nursing certificate preferred
  • Masters of Nursing required
