We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Administrator to join our team at Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support for our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and support all IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, databases, backup, replication, datacenter technologies, cloud solutions, telephone, and disaster recovery systems.
- Work closely with Manager-IT Infrastructure, Manager-IT Application Support, and third-party vendors to deliver robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, improve existing infrastructure capabilities, and review and provide recommendations on new technologies.
- Run diagnostics, troubleshoot, and test hardware, operating system, and customized software.
- Analyze and repair Windows and Linux O/S issues.
- Run regularly, a suite of administrative applications to meet contractual service levels.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call support rotation as required.
- University degree or diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Certifications in Microsoft, VMWare, Fortinet, Dell.
