About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at J and K Heating Ltd. as a key member of our construction management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Estimating

Develop and manage construction project budgets, including estimating costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.

Scheduling and Planning

Plan and coordinate construction schedules, milestones, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

Contract Management

Prepare and negotiate contracts, revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Quality Control

Establish and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure high-quality construction outcomes.

Budget Management

Manage and control project budgets, including tracking expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction, and ensuring financial reporting is accurate and timely.

Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.

Team Leadership and Supervision

Lead and supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality results.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Personal Qualities and Skills

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and suppliers.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.

Work Arrangements
