Retail Sales Associate

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making purchases.
- Process transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a high level of accuracy with cash handling.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and sales to effectively communicate with customers and meet their needs.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
