About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to support a strategic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program to replace its legacy Records Management System (RMS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing a data pipeline to extract, load, and transform (ELT) legacy data from NicheRMS version 5 to NicheRMS UA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a data pipeline to migrate data from legacy systems to the new ERP system
  • Cleanse and transform structured and unstructured data to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain data models and entity relationship diagrams to ensure data consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and post-implementation support
  • Provide expert knowledge of data types, data objects, and SQL to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, and/or Database Administrator (DBA)
  • Expert knowledge of data types, data objects, and Entity Relationship Diagrams
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and data migration, data transformation, and data cleansing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with data pipelines, data migration, and data transformation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, R, Ruby, and Scala
  • Knowledge of data security and experience in large ERP implementations
  • Experience with NicheRMS and records management software
