Job Title: Minimally Coated Films Specialist at Teledyne Digital Imaging, Inc.

Description: As a key member of the Minimally Coated Films team, your primary focus will be on the deposition of thin films:

  • Enhance and refine deposition techniques utilizing cathodic sputtering (Al, AlSiCu, AlCu, Ge, Ti, Ru, Mo, V, Vox, etc.) on 200mm systems;
  • Advance and optimize reactive cathodic sputtering processes (TiN, AlN, etc.).

Your responsibilities will include overseeing equipment, managing manufacturing protocols, and refining processes to drive continuous enhancement, both in the development phase and during production. You will collaborate closely with equipment technicians and offer assistance to production personnel as necessary. Additionally, you will play a vital role in boosting equipment performance metrics and process efficiency, including cycle time, yield, statistical process control, and cost optimization. Your duties will also encompass drafting essential documentation to support both production and development initiatives. You will be tasked with troubleshooting equipment and manufacturing process challenges.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

We seek candidates who possess:

  • A university degree (B.Eng, B.Sc., M.Eng, M.Sc., or Ph.D.) in physical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Silicon wafer microfabrication (preferred): MEMS processes; wafer-level packaging techniques (WLP); CCD and CMOS methodologies;
  • Understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing processes (preferred).
