About the Role

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled Waste Management Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating various vehicles and equipment to collect and transport waste and recyclables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a range of vehicles and equipment, including garbage trucks, recycling trucks, and other specialized equipment.
  • Collect and Transport Waste: Collect and transport waste and recyclables to designated facilities, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Comply with Regulations: Familiarize yourself with and comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to waste management, transportation, and environmental protection.
Requirements
  • Valid AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience: Previous experience operating heavy equipment and collecting waste is an asset.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and other relevant certifications.
