Key Responsibilities- Assist the management team in supervising the dairy and frozen food department, including mentoring, teaching, and assigning duties to associates.
- Order merchandise on time to meet customer demand.
- Maintain zero pricing errors and adhere to cold chain compliance standards.
- Ensure food safety and handling procedures are followed, and sanitation and cleaning procedures are maintained.
- Follow proper procedures for mark-ups, mark-downs, price changes, and clearance sales.
- Listen to customer complaints, examine returned merchandise, and resolve problems to restore good public relations.
- Manage department budgets, including shrink budgets.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of inventory management and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
