Key Responsibilities- System Specialist Support: Provide technical expertise to the ISTAR Command and Control team, ensuring the smooth operation of C2 activities.
- Documentation and File Management: Maintain and create accurate documentation and files related to ISTAR C2 systems.
- Technical Documentation: Ensure all relevant technical documentation is up-to-date and accessible to support the Directorates' corporate Information Management.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other DND and government departments to support ISTAR C2 activities.
- Problem Tracking and Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems related to ISTAR C2 systems.
- System Integration and Verification: Ensure seamless integration and verification of hardware and software components in new or existing systems.
- Usability and Human Computer Interaction: Enhance system usability, design, and implementation to meet user needs and expectations.
- Security Clearance: Must have a valid Secret level security clearance.
- Education and Experience: Proof of STEM Diploma and experience in networking, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
- Programming Languages: Working knowledge of Python, C, and Java programming languages.
- MIL Standards: Knowledge of MIL standards and understanding of Army structure.
- System Engineering Experience: 6 years of demonstrated experience in system engineering, with a minimum of 4 years in the following areas: planning, configuring, employing, and managing command and control communication and information systems.
