Job Description

Job Summary

ADGA Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. As a System Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems for the Mobile Domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • MD System Integration
    • Direct and monitor the Mobile Domain System Integration team, providing guidance on priority and delivery dates as needed.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to address potential issues impacting Mobile Domain System Integration.
    • Conduct weekly update meetings with the Mobile Domain System Integration team.
  • PI Planning Support
    • Support the Mobile Domain System Integration team in PI planning, including pre-planning discussions and participating in PI planning meetings.
  • SAFe Support
    • Participate in daily Scrum meetings and bi-weekly sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint demo meetings.
  • MD SI Technical Issues
    • Monitor and review technical issues related to Mobile Domain System Integration.
  • MD Baseline Support
    • Monitor the Mobile Domain Baseline management working group.
    • Work with the baseline manager to manage Mobile Domain Baselines, from creation to release.
    • Participate in Mobile Domain Baseline WG meetings and report on Mobile Domain Baseline status.
  • MD System Design and Architecture
    • Conduct technical design reviews on Mobile Domain system design through CR Review Meetings.
    • Participate in Mobile Domain Steering Committee meetings and review issues and designs.
    • Participate in Mobile Domain Architecture Working Group meetings and review designs.
    • Participate in Mobile Domain SPR Review meetings and review SPRs.
    • Participate in bi-weekly working group meetings and review technical issues.
    • Conduct design reviews on Mobile Domain System design and Mobile SSDD.
  • MD IM: D3 IMO and D3 EIS IA
    • Administer EIS MD SharePoint access, including regular access and restricted access on ITAR-controlled items as EIS IA.
    • Administer DWAN SharePoint as D3 IMO.
  • MD Document Management
    • Support D2's document type standardization.
    • Coordinate with engineering staff on document management.
  • Support Mobile Domain Trials and Exercise
    • Provide technical support to MD trials at the System Integration Lab (SIL) with System Problem Report management and reports.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) related to network, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field to support Land C4ISR.
  • Professional Experience
    • Demonstrated experience as a System Architect on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.
    • Experience in preparing technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology/Information management or engineering.
    • Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
    • Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
    • Providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
    • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks, or strategies.
    • Developing architecture in one or more of the following areas:
      • System-of-Systems level architecture for C4ISR systems;
      • System requirements gathering for complex systems;
      • System level architecture for command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment;
      • System level architecture for command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment;
      • ISTAR System level architecture for Military;
      • C4ISR systems; and/or
      • Data architecture definition and implementation for C4ISR systems or similar systems.
    • Analyzing, designing, and/or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas:
      • Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment;
      • Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment;
      • Military ISTAR systems;
      • Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
      • System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
    • Demonstrated work experience in system integration, verification, and validation for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems, in one of the following areas:
      • Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment;
      • Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment;
      • Military ISTAR systems; Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
      • System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
