Network Operations Specialist

The Network Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of various network systems. This position involves a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to maintain and enhance network performance.
Key Responsibilities- Network Management: Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated computer workstations and peripherals.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Assess and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating system solutions.
- User Support: Provide assistance and solutions to network users facing issues.
- Data Protection: Conduct data backups and execute disaster recovery strategies.
- Network Setup: Establish local area networks and ensure reliable Internet connectivity.
- Performance Optimization: Deploy network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server efficiency.
- Web Management: Research and apply metadata to websites, ensuring proper registration with search engines.
- Technical Supervision: Oversee the work of technical staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications- Education: Completion of college or CEGEP program.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
- Work Conditions: Permanent position with a standard work week of 35 hours.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
