About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Cleaning Professional to join our team at Gold Leaf Home & Property Services. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients and their families by adhering to our company's security protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Transportation and Travel: Ensure reliable transportation to and from job sites, as well as the ability to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work independently in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks, and be physically demanding, with the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move objects weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as needed.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude, with a strong sense of honesty and values.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Financial Benefits: Mileage paid, permanent employment, and the opportunity to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
