Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Canadiana Motel. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Canadiana Motel, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
