Job Title: Manager of Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Manager of Account Manager is a key role in our company, responsible for managing a book of business and servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner. This position requires a solid understanding of commercial insurance and the ability to work closely with advisors to obtain, maintain, and expand business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business, including routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.
  • Work closely with advisors to acquire information for renewal, manage pre-renewal meetings, and initiate account planning 90 days in advance of renewal.
  • Continuously review client's coverages, exposures, and loss experience and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements in collaboration with advisors.
  • Accompany account executives and advisors to prospect and client meetings as requested.
  • Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging risks.

Requirements:

  • Solid mentorship skills and teaming capability.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy and business acumen with a focus on customer service.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and internal Broker Management Systems (EPIC).
  • Level 2 license or equivalent and relevant industry experience required.
