We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management Inc. in Burnaby.

About the Role:

This is a casual position that requires the ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Observe, monitor, and document resident health status, including physical and psychological conditions.
  • Provide personal care to residents as required, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support emergency staff scheduling and ensure adherence to infection control practices.
  • Assess resident health status, including differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings, recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, and assessing and monitoring resident strengths and limitations.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurses program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM.
  • Holds an active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN.
  • Maintain Occupational First Aide Level 1 status.
  • Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
