POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in the delivery of IT solutions that align with business objectives. Reporting to the Supervisor of Strategy Architecture & Solution, this position is responsible for the coordination and execution of IT initiatives that fulfill business requirements.

As a recognized technical authority, the Senior Solution Architect serves as a consultant and mentor, guiding both IT and business stakeholders through complex technical landscapes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions that address the strategic needs of the organization.

- Lead teams focused on enterprise data management and systems integration, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.

- Collaborate with IT professionals to design high-level and mid-level architectures for strategic business applications.

- Develop enterprise-level data management and application integration solutions that meet identified business needs.

- Establish and document standards for data management and application integration based on industry benchmarks.

- Analyze and interpret business needs into functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.

- Identify technological opportunities to enhance business operations through process re-engineering and integration efforts.

- Review existing applications to recommend modernization and consolidation strategies that improve efficiency.

- Design cloud computing strategies, focusing on cloud-native and hybrid solutions that meet business objectives.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in cloud environments.

- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Business and Information Analysts, overseeing their development and performance.

- Manage relationships with business stakeholders, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their operational drivers.

- Define and communicate corporate standards for the acquisition and implementation of new applications.

- Conduct quality assurance reviews on project deliverables, ensuring adherence to established standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Extensive experience in IT, with a focus on architecture, data management, and application design.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and application development lifecycles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to project management.
