Role Overview

As the Cluster Sales and Marketing Manager, your enthusiasm and drive will enable you to offer unforgettable experiences to guests visiting your property. You will possess a deep understanding of your establishment and foster strong relationships with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attract group, transient, and/or banquet business while consistently achieving sales targets
  • Set parameters, provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts
  • Engage in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events
  • Maintain comprehensive accounts, contacts, activities, and business details
  • Conduct daily briefings with departments regarding current key activities
  • Direct and oversee all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales efforts to maximize hotel revenue
  • Analyze competition, market trends, customer needs, and feedback to proactively adapt strategies
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing programs and devise new strategies
  • Manage all advertising, public relations, and promotional activities in collaboration with corporate marketing
  • Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours, and client meetings
  • Evaluate shifts in guest needs, guest demographics, and competitive landscape to recommend necessary product/service and operational adjustments

Qualifications:

Your qualifications and experience include:

  • Relevant sales experience within the hotel industry
  • Ability to prioritize guest needs while maintaining composure and courtesy
  • Highly responsible and dependable
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities
  • Prior experience with Opera or similar systems
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
