We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team at MJY Auto Sales and Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities- Tool Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Safety Protocols: Communicate safety procedures to colleagues and the public, promoting a safe working environment.
- Support Services: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain clean machines and work areas, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
- Weight Handling: Lift and move objects weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
