About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at LEARN N PLAY CHILDCARE CENTRE INC. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement learning plans tailored to the unique needs of each child, ensuring their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver programs that promote children's growth and well-being.
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and families to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's overall well-being.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
