Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Lions Childcare & Preschool Inc.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to our children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and cleaning
  • Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment
