We are seeking a highly skilled Signals Intelligence Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Armed Forces. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for intercepting and analyzing electronic transmissions, including foreign communications.

- Manage and protect computer networks to ensure information technology security
- Use and maintain classified publications to support mission objectives
As a Signals Intelligence Specialist, you will work in a high-security, restricted-access facility, often in shifts. However, you will also have opportunities to work regular business hours and may be deployed around the world.
Training and EducationTo be successful in this role, you will need to complete the Basic Military Qualification course, also known as Basic Training, held at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School in Quebec. This training provides the basic core skills and knowledge common to all trades.
The minimum required education to apply for this occupation is the completion of the provincial requirements for Grade 10 or Secondary 4 in Quebec, including Grade 10 applied math or math 416/CST 4 in Quebec.
Part-Time OptionsAs a Reserve Force member, you will typically work part-time for a Reserve unit in your community. You are not posted or required to do a military move, but you can volunteer to move to another base or deploy on a military mission within or outside Canada.
