About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Local Pizza. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • QuickBooks Management: Manage and maintain QuickBooks, including setting up new accounts, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 32 hours per week. We offer a recognized employer status and a work language of English.
