Island Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Education and Experience:We are looking for a candidate with a Grade 12 diploma and a recognized accounting course. A minimum of two years of recent related experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:- Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with others effectively
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
