As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading high-quality program planning, maintaining safety and supervision, and building healthy relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead program planning and implementation, incorporating the Y's values and standards
* Maintain safety and supervision in accordance with provincial licensing requirements
* Build healthy relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Actively interact with children ages 5-12 as a play partner and homework helper
* Support implementation of play-based educational programming

**Requirements:**

* 19 years of age (as per provincial licensing standards)
* Minimum 20 hours of professional development relating to children's health, nutrition, safety, development, and/or guidance
* Valid Class 4 operator's license required (training available)
* Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR level B or C
* Paid educational opportunities may be available for Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certification
