Position:

Full-time & Part-time English Teacher / Maths Teacher.

Location:

#401-5811 Cooney Road, Richmond, BC, Canada, V6X 3M1 (Pacific Business Centre South Tower).

English Teaching Position:

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students of various ages and levels.

  • Familiar with English teaching of the BC curriculum, and the BC ELL program.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Maths Teaching Position:

We are seeking a qualified Maths teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students of various ages and levels.

  • Familiar with local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary schools, SAT. Mathematics, SSAT Mathematics (familiar with two or more is preferred).
  • Familiar with the BC curriculum Math and math competitions.
  • Familiar with the North American education system.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.) with relevant education experience. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.

  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
  • Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
  • Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
  • Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
  • Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
