Position

We are seeking a Full-time & Part-time English Teacher / Maths Teacher to join our team.

ResponsibilitiesEnglish Teaching Position
  • Familiarity with English teaching of the BC curriculum and the BC ELL program.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Maths Teaching Position
  • Familiarity with local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary schools, SAT Mathematics, and SSAT Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with the BC curriculum Math and math competitions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.) with relevant education experience.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
  • Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
  • Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
  • Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
  • Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
