We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that drive our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare comprehensive cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation and inform business decisions.
- IT Strategy and Policy: Provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure alignment with our organizational goals.
- Security Risk Assessment: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize the effects of security breaches.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, and identify areas for improvement.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, and provide staff training to ensure seamless system operation.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ Certification, Microsoft certified IT professional (MCITP), and Information Systems Professional (ISP) certification.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Automatic data processing (ADP), Cloud, Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Jira, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, iOS, MAC, Unix, JavaOS, Device drivers, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security, Intranet, Internet, Servers, File management software, Security software, Mail server software, Database software, Spreadsheet, MS Office, MS Windows, SQL, Firewall, MS Active Directory, MS Outlook, MS SQL Server.
