About the Role

The Analytics Solution Designer will work closely with senior business leaders to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business outcomes. As a key member of the J.D. Irving, Limited team, you will be responsible for leading the organization in leveraging analytics and data technology to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead the design and implementation of analytics and data solutions that meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics
  • Manage the delivery of analytics and data initiatives, providing technical oversight and guidance to team members
  • Contribute to the identification of future projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with senior business and IT leaders to discuss data and analytics strategies
  • Build relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Estimate costs and prepare business cases for IT data and analytics solutions
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and colleagues
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in complex deployment projects involving design, implementation, and support of distributed data and analytics systems
  • University degree or relevant college diploma
  • Strong technical understanding of analytics and data management domains
  • Excellent business analysis and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels
