Early Steps is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing child-care programs, leading activities, and engaging children in educational and fun experiences. You will also be responsible for observing children and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors. Additionally, you will work closely with the team to plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
* Lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
* Engage children in activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
* Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
* Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
* Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
* Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children

Requirements:

* Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* Experience an asset
* Dental plan
* Health care plan
* Permanent position
* English language
* 30 to 40 hours per week
