About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Early Steps. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their overall growth and well-being.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teach songs, and lead activities that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Child Guidance: Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
